                       1 .PREDICTIONS -willfuture-plans-and-predictions-4-638

  1. USE:
  • Use will, might and may for making predictions or to say what we think of the future.
  • The negative forms of will, might and may are: won’t, might not and may not.
  • We often use I think/I don’t think to indroduce a prediction.
  • We often say I don’t think + will instead of I think+ I won’t.
  • Use will when we are more certain of the future. We use may and might when we are less certain.
  • Might is more common than may to make predictions, in formal English is better use May.
  1. ADVERBS OF CERTAINTY:

We often use adverbs with will/won’t for predictions, to say how certain we are. The main adverbs which are used: DEFINITELY, PROBABLY and CERTAINLY.

  • Possition of the adverbs of certainty.
  • (Affirmative) WILL + (Adverb) + VERB
  • (Negative) (Adverb) + WON’T + VERB

We only use these adverbs with will.

       2. SPONTANEOUS DECISIONS-will

    Hi everybody.

Here we are again with the  first activity. Those of you who were in 1º A last year know what  this is all about. For the new students just tell you that part of the activities you’ll have to carry out this year will be in this blog and to start with  you have «25 things about me»,  a good way to know a bit more about each of you . You have to prepare a short talk telling 25 things about you. It´s up to you to decide how you’re going to do it. You can do a ppt, use photos, video or record or use your imagination. Of course, no need to say that  English is the only language you can use. You have a week from now.

By the way, the video is in Spanish because I couldn’t  find one  in English which I liked as much as this one.

    Edupop Manifesto | Manifiesto Edupop

We do believe in technology, because we do believe in individuals. And that’s why we think our struggle is over the future of technology and over the way we manage with it, it is over the struggle for the future of our culture that is assailed from all corners by the punk way of thinking. Technology and knowledge must be free to share, sell or use in order to give away ideas, innovations and visions. So we will receive whatever is shared, sold or gave away in return. We live in a connective world where culture and knowledge is everywhere, and individuals must be free to do as they want in it. Look for the perfect melody Enter the free stage: EDUPOP!
